Tis the season for giving

Another wonderful catchup with the Cassilis quilters today, last time for 2015. It was definitely like Christmas!

I made selvedge zipper pouches for Raelee, Julie, Kylie and Bev.......and a few spares.

And a new pin cushion for Lea, provider of the 1930's scraps.

Before......

And after.

Beautiful gifts made by my talented friends, thank you so much. X

  4. Wow! Your sewing group really makes an effort at the end of the year! I recently finished my contribution to the Kris Kringle gift swap, but our end-of-year party is not until the 16th. Even then, I am one of the few who give handmade pressies.
I had some of that round floral French General print. I am kicking myself for cutting it up last month and not making a round needle case thingummy!

  9. Your gathering table is a feast for the eyes - happy anticipation of what was to come! The selvedge edge purses you made are adorable - love the little bell on the zipper pull. Zippers and I are not on the best of terms so I am in awe....and putting a zipper on a round needle case is over the top! Lovely reminders of dear stitching friends.
