Budding Artist

How clever is my boy??? While we were out for dinner last night Mr Almost 15 whipped up this little creation titled "shrooms". A quick visit to Big W today and it's now framed ready to hang.

I went to The Home Patch on Thursday. Anni has restocked after Christmas and there was lots to see and inspire. I bought some woven wool for another pear and this pretty fat quarter. I'm making my niece a sewing kit, and thought I'd use the sewing case out of SKOW. But instead of little squares, use this as the feature fabric. I haven't quite made up my mind yet.

I have had been doing quite a good job resisting Lynette Anderson's In Full Bloom BOM. But when I saw the sample Anni has done all resolve went out the window (with my Nundle budget). The stitcheries are divine, so I'm looking forward to starting next month.

I will have to spend some time with the whippersnipper and mower today, but hopefully with needle and thread too. Hope you have a great day.
