FNWF started out with me lying on the lounge thinking the only thing I was going to do was go to bed. But after a bit of blogging I got up and got motivated and produced two more zipper bags. These are the medium size.......and they just need the turning hole stitched up. The one on the right is actually a much prettier green than it looks in this pic.
Do you think the zipper pull needs a little something........like a bit of ribbon or a little felt circle? I'm not sure.
Then I noticed the Noodlehead tutorial for the lil cutie pouch so thought I'd have a go at that. Well honestly, ten minutes later it was finished!!! This little baby measures 5 1/2" by 3 1/2".
So after a slow start, it was a very productive night. Catching up on all the usual chores today, and helping hubby enjoy the last of his annual leave.
Hope you have a great weekend.

Oh you were BuSy! What little cuties you created! And yes zipper pulls are always NiCe even if a little piece of ribbon. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are on a roll with these. Love them all. Hugs
ReplyDeleteCute bags you have made. An idea to put on zipper pulls are to use buttons. I use a strechy band and thread several buttons on it and then on the zipper pull. You can also use large beads also. I can take a picture of one I have made and make a post about it on my blog tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI think I would go with the wool felt with a little embroidery. I wish someone would come to my house and be that motivated!
ReplyDeleteyou are so clever Susan i love these and what a beautiful person you are for cheering Kate up,well done on these lovely finishes Susan.xx

ReplyDeleteLoving the zippered pouches, may just have to put my big girl panties on and give them a try.....are they hard to insert the zip into? :) Barb.
