Ah, yes. It's a good feeling to be at that stage. I just finished sewing down the binding on a lap quilt last night and was so pleased. Am not finished yet, though. I FMQd the quilt, but am hand quilting around the appliques because I didn't have the confidence to echo quilt around them on the machine. Only 6 more to go.
Every time I see your blog, I crave doing some hand quilting again. I really must make time for some soon as it has been a long time for me. I always enjoy doing the binding on every single quilt. xx debbie
I hate sewing down the binding, I know it means it's almost done but I have a quilt at the quilters now and not looking forward to sewing the binding down when its 108" square, may I send it to you? :)
I love binding! ....and having Fridays off would be lovely, but not possible for me...yet! Maybe one day. I I have a couple of long weekends planned as mini breaks in September - looking forward to them!! Always inspirong to read your blog and see what you are up to.
Nothing better than bind sewing... except when you use those cute little clips...
