Plus Quilt top

It didn't take very long to sew it together either. I think I like it, it's just so different to anything I usually make.

I think I'll go back to my hand piecing and little clamshells tonight, I need something more traditional.

    It looks great Susan. Once you quilt it, it will change again. Many of the modern styles are so attractive it is hard to stay focused on the projects on hand. Then there is the issue of building another stash. Has anyone laid claim to this one?

    wow, this top looks great! I am a trad girl at heart to, but it is nice to break free of the mould and play sometimes...this experiment worked well!

    Wow! It's big! I didn't realise how big it was going to be. It looks great. Nice to work on something a little different sometimes. Can't wait to see how you will quilt this.

    I've wondered about making one myself. It almost has a masculine feel to it in the right fabrics--maybe for my son? Yours looks great!
