As if the years aren't rolling by fast enough! Yesterday my eldest son bought his first car. He has another month or so on his learners before he can hit the road on his own. I'm so proud of him for his determined saving.

I think I need some medicinal stitching time today, to come to terms with this new stage of life!

On a culinary note I am trying out this bread recipe on my inlaws tonight. This is how it looks after 10 hours.........

Have a great day.

  1. I know how you feel Susan although Mitchell doesn't turn 18 until June. So I have a little more time!

  2. Congrats to your son. It is scary when our children actually do what we set out to achieve and that is growing up. My baby has been married 10 years today... Yikes!
Homemade bread! Yum! Enjoy your stitching x

  16. Very impressive first car! Don't worry this new stage will bring some benefits e.g. he will be able to run errands for you - although I don't know if that will include trips to the quilt shop!
Wow! bread is something I haven't tried to bake, but my hips say now is not the time to start! I will look forward to hearing how it goes though.
