A little finish

I finished sewing down the binding on this little baby at Nundle. I love how it turned out, especially the texture of the quilting. Thank you Elyte for the charm squares that were my inspiration. 11"" x 9".

As if GDITC wasn't enough fun, I arrived home to my 2014 blog book. I always think twice before ordering it, and I'm always so glad that I did. I know I can always see my blog online........but it's so nice to sit down with a book.

No progress at all on the GDITC project, but a little cross stitch on the side.

Its a beautiful autumn day here today, I think it's my favourite season.

Happy stitching,
Susan x

  9. Just delightful, Susan. Your work is always so precise and beautiful. Regret to say I haven't touched my weekend stitching either in the past few days - it's been so hot and I can't concentrate. But I did at least knuckle down at Chooky's and decided to use just one colour - love it. Hope you are having a good week - it was lovely to see you again.

  25. Love your simple plus quilt, so nice to work on something like this and your quilting looks fabulous. I had my blog book printed last month but mine is for the last 5 years, I've been a very slack blogger as it's the same number of pages as my first year of blogging. Seems we have the same taste, I have chosen that cover for all of my four blog books.
