Midweek DJ

A new favourite DJ block. Prepping multiple blocks at a time is definitely keeping the momentum going on this project.

A special commission sewing a badge on for hubby, who is off on a boys version of retreat this weekend.......motor bike riding of course.

The excitement is building......only two weeks until I head off to Girls Day in the Country at Nundle.

    Tiny, tiny curved drunkards path, looks very sweet! My boys have just expressed an interest in scouts/cubs so I can see lots of badge sewing in my future also :)

    You must have quite a few of those DJ blocks Susan..it looks great! Seeing your badge reminds me of a Camp Blanket for my Son.....all covered in badges! Looking forward to Nundle!

    Love your latest block with all those curved seams. Lucky hubby. Mick always reckons that any time I spend sewing earns him motorcycling time credits. He says his trip around Australia is looking good. I hope your hubby has a great weekend away, using some of his credits. The weather should be good for them, if a tad warm. That reminds me that I still have a couple of badges Mick wants sewn onto his vest, but I'm always nervous sewing on leather.

    Another lovely addition to the DJ family. The choosing of fabric and prepping does take ages but once done I find the sewing is easy.
