I am also happy to report that I had a light bulb moment that has saved my cross stitch when I was stitching with the Cassilis girls. As the linen is 32 count I can get away with using a single strand of thread, and won't need to buy more. I have just about regained what I had to unpick, and I actually prefer it finer. It was such an obvious solution.
Hope you find some happy stitching time over the weekend.

Hi Susan......back from my holiday and slowly settling into 'normal' life! Have looked back through all your posts.....boy you have been busy. Love your latest mini! Doesn't time just fly by with your Big Boy off to Uni next year! I haven't touched a stitch since I got back and barely did any stitching before I left....Methinks I have a lot of catching up to do....Have a lovely weekend and of course....Happy Stitching xo

ReplyDeleteI think if you bring your mini to Middlebrook, it just might go missing. Have you considered just removing thE binding and border and just keep going if you decide to make the larger quilt. What a head start! Already 397 hexies in.
