It was good to have a clean out as I went. Hoping to make some space for a design wall too......
It was also very exciting to finally visit The Crewel Gobelin. I couldn't help buying a new cross stitch pattern and some lovely dark blue grey thread. Great to meet some fellow stitchers while I was there too.
Thank you for your kind words about my wasp stings. When I did the post on Friday I was being optimistic. By Saturday my whole left arm and hand had swollen so much that I couldn't do anything, let alone sew. Just about back to normal now though thank goodness, so back to some hand quilting.
Susan x
Love your ikea
ReplyDeleteLooks so lovely and tidy.
Lucky you getting to have some crafty retail therapy after returning your boy to uni.
You won't believe this, but I too got this Ikea storage unit last week. I have 3 bins, 2 drawer units and 11 cubicles that are all filled. Might have to invest in another 4! Glad that you could squeeze some extra shopping in and that you have recovered from those nasty stings.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great storage unit Susan! Ouch to the stings and so happy you are back into quilting!
ReplyDeleteWow that looks fantastic Susan and great for storage
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteDear Susan,
ReplyDeletegood to read your hand and arm are doing better.
Great storage cabinet, love it.
Greetings,

Nice units from Ikea. I am impressed with your home storage set up, looks very tidy and easy to find things. Wouldnt be enough room there for me to hide all my UFO's!
ReplyDeleteA really functional looking storage unit - Have never been to an Ikea store - the nearest one would be a 6 hour drive! Always great to see how quilters organize their spaces! Good to hear you are recovering!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great !
ReplyDeleteYour room looks great AND soooo tidy too. Lots of space for you now.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are back sewing again after the "sting"... xox
Love your new unit. Glad you're over the horrible stings and can get back to stitching....that looks like a gorgeous shop!
ReplyDeleteAmazing storage and looks fantastic :o)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your wasp sting ... nasty beggars!
Oh dear! How terrible about the wasp stings!! SO glad they are finally going down... Not being able to stitch, what a nightmare!
ReplyDeleteGreat Ikea cabinet! I wish they had an Ikea here in Tas! BooHoo!
Great shelving from Ikea - it certainly is great discipline to only get what you went for! Glad the wasp stings are improving... how awful

You're looking very organised. It looks great. I think you must be trying to show me up. LOL. Mine is a complete muddle at the moment. The Ikea furniture is so practical and versatile. We may be having a visit one day as well.
ReplyDeleteAwesome cabinet.... Sorry to read about rage wasp sting ...ouch xxx
ReplyDeleteI have yet to get to an Ikea... but, I keep seeing plenty pics of purchases on blogs that might just make me want to get to one! This is the perfect storage piece! The Crewel Goblin looks like a great place to empty a wallet... lol!
ReplyDeleteReally like your new Ikea item Susan....I feel a trip coming on for one of those... after we have finished the little shed to house those items that are clogging up my office and sewing room (stuff belonging to both my children)!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice units Susan and you have made a beautiful display! I think I'm years overdue for a trip to Ikea too :)
ReplyDeleteLove the shelving unit....that was very disciplined....it's so easy to get side tracked at ikea.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are getting over the bites....doesn't sound very nice at all.
They are great shelves (I have some too) and I love all the inserts available for them too.
