Suffering from a head cold today, so probably not much sewing.
While I was in Bathurst yesterday, I spent a lovely half hour at The Home Patch with Deb. After trying quite a few different options I went with my first choice for the binding. It's not as bright as it looks in the photo.
It was so nice to wander around the shop with a friend, even if it was only for a short while. Thanks Deb.
Hope you have a great weekend.

Lovely colour for the binding. Now tell that head cold to go away so you can finish off this one. It is a beautiful quilt and your hand quilting is perfect. I really do love this one :o)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are not feeling well - DD is unwell too and I think she has shared her germs with me. I am liking that binding. Glad to hear you caught up with Deb and had a lovely shop. xxx
ReplyDeleteSorry you are not feeling the best Susan...your binding choice looks perfect...take care..
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling better :) The binding will look great :)
ReplyDeleteI think the binding is going to frame your gorgeous quilt beautifully Susan...take care and I hope that pesky head cold is done with soon! I've got an annoying cough and not much sewing happening here either...Enjoy the rest of the weekend xo
ReplyDeletehope you feel better soon Susan and the binding goes well.xx
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better today. That quilt is one step closer to completion.
ReplyDeletelovely choice for the binding.
ReplyDeleteHope your cold subsides to allow some sewing time.
Take care of yourself with that cold. I hope you shake it quickly. I heard that your quilt is even more beautiful "in the flesh" and that your finger is a little the worse for wear from all the hand quilting. I can't wait to see it all finished now that you have chosen your binding.
ReplyDeleteOh your quilt is going to look gorgeous...love your choice for the binding!!!

Isn't it interesting how we often come back to our first choice...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colour.
Hope your headcold hurries away.
