My last attempt to save my stitchery involved natural yoghurt. It did work a little, but it may have been hampered by my earlier attempts. The stitchery is headed for the bin because I can't stand looking at it.
The boys were very nervous about what might have been for tea.
And just to prove that I am not only an Anni addict.................
......... I am a Marg Low addict as well. This one will hold a special piece of jewellery for another niece's 21st in September.
Soaking up the sunshine and the last day of school holidays today.

That is such a lovely pattern. Sadly no sunshine here. I might have to curl up on the couch in front of the heater :)
ReplyDeletewhat a shame Susan,and boy love that Bag,gorgeous stitchery,well done.xx
ReplyDeleteIt is a shame about your stitchery.....I am with you love Marg Low...gorgeous bag...
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, you'll probably feel a lot better once you have done away with that stitchery! Cute little purse...I bought a Marg Low at the Show this time!
ReplyDeleteConsidering the cost of the WDW threads, you would hope that you could use them with confidence. I bought some recently to do a stitchery so I hope that they don't do anything nasty for me. You know I like Anni's things but yes, I am a Marg Low fan too - I have bought quite a few of her patterns after I went to the Sydney craft show last year. Cute.
ReplyDeleteoh what a shame it didn't work!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had seen that pattern for that purse at the show!! It is adorable in the red.
I can't say that your yoghurt looks terribly appetising. LOL. I agree that if you aren't ever going to be happy with the block it is best to ditch it. Aren't you fortunate it was only a small stitchery. I'm sure your cute purse cheered you up.
ReplyDeleteWhat we do for our craft! Shame it didn't work.
ReplyDeleteLovely combination in your most recent purse - red, white, spots and birds.
Wonderful bird purse!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your threads behaved so bad!
Hugs,
Tatyana
Never heard of yoghurt to remove staining? Can see why it scared the boys.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely purse!
what a great way to present some jewellery.
I am very impressed that you even had the courage to put yoghurt on it! By the way, your budding chief made quite an impressive dessert - very nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer about your stitchery. I do love that little purse looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI'ma big Marg Low fan too. Such a cute project.
ReplyDeleteAs one of your new followers I don't know what happened to you rpoor stitchery but it looks serious and sad. Thanks so much for following my blog also Susan. Hugs Michelle x
